Surgical Services

At FirstLight Health System, surgical services are performed by surgeons who are compassionate, skilled experts in their fields. These surgeons, and the highly trained staff who partner with them, work in a facility that is equipped with the latest advances in surgical technology and innovative procedures.

The four large high-tech operating rooms easily accommodate all the state-of-the-art equipment necessary for advanced care. The surgery department at FirstLight Health System boasts 15 private pre-op/post-op rooms, an extensive four-patient recovery area, two special pediatric recovery rooms and two procedure rooms. The large, modern window-filled waiting room provides comfort for visiting loved ones. This suite, all 18,000 square feet of it, is located on the second floor.  

In addition, the spacious and advanced surgery suite allows the hospital to proceed with its goal of acquiring more surgeons. This will ultimately provide more surgical procedures and further meet the growing needs of the community.

Along with our team of highly skilled surgeons and state of the art technology, FirstLight Health System is supported by an outstanding team of surgical professionals and is sustained by the skills and dedication of the entire system. Staff provides preoperative education and evaluation, anesthetic evaluation and superb care throughout the operative care process.
